Vision Test App Reviews

The app is a bit tricky trying to get your to a optometrist almost always. And if you try and rate the app lower it disconnects you from the App Store and removes the ratings option completely. Not many people bother with doing another attempt to rate and thats why you see only positive ratings. Dont be fooled by this app.

Tests were sort of vague and the distance test didnt work because it wouldnt let my devices synchronize

Lots of reviews saying the distance test isnt working because you can get the iPhone and iPad to connect.

Says it needs to link with alternate iPad/iPhone in order to test distance. As others have said it doesnt work. Apps that dont work get judged harshly. Also default is flickering text, on an eye test? And annoying sound effects.

While I couldnt get my iPhone and iPad to connect so that I could check distance vision, I was able to take other important tests. For me, by taking this test I found that I might have macular degeneration, at least in one eye which could lead to blindness. Im scared. It is a side effect of a medication I take. I made an appointment with my eye Dr to see just what is happening. This is a tool and when you sign in, they tell you its not a substitute for seeing an eye Dr, but for me and everyone else, it is a very good tool to let you know how your vision is in other ways. I do ask this company to please work on making the distance test work better and to please add the macular degeneration test available on the iPhone. Fortunately for me, I looked on my iPad also.
